South Beach reminds me of a post-apocalyptic Barbie world, everything is pink and palm trees are everywhere! With its rad lifeguard stations, luxury shopping, and crystal clear waters there was never a dull moment here.
South Beach is all about bright colors, cool prints and art deco inspired everything.. which is exactly what I packed in my suitcase! However, with all the bright colors I had to balance it off with a basic color that will be versatile. This mini white dress was perfect for Miami. It was pretty, fresh and the plunging neckline was beyond sexy.
After an elegant dinner at Versace Mansion, the neon lights called our names and we hit all of the sophisticated and unique clubs at hotels such as SLS, the Delano and the Shore Club which amazingly all have crazy pool parties during the weekend that are a must!
Half our stay we stayed at the luxury resort Eden Roc which was a quick Uber ride away from the bustling and energetic vibes of Collins Ave and Ocean Drive. Between their amazing breakfast and 3 pools we were never disappointed. For the other half we stayed at the art-deco hotel, South Seas, where everything was in walking distance. Pilikia, the poolside bar, is all about the little luxuries, like a reviving mid-day snack or an indulgent glass of wine served poolside. I loved swinging from one of their many hammocks while sipping on one of their delicious cocktails. Mojito, anyone? But my favorite part of staying here was watching the iguanas walk by and climb the umbrellas as I was swimming! I highly recommended visiting this unique place.
