152 times I laughed with my hairdresser, Allie.
152 times I ogled at my blowout.
152 reasons I plan on returning.
152 N Wetherly Dr.
That is the address of the new and crisp, airy bungalow in West Hollywood that has A-listers flocking to.
When I opened the gate that lead to Mare Salon, I felt a lot like I was entering into someone’s home; warm, inviting, and private. Abandoned and overgrown less than a year ago, it has now been created and revamped by hair guru’s Mara Roszak, Alex Polillo and Denis De Souza. Now it is a WeHo beauty scene, and I could see why it landed a feature in Architecture Digest. A subtle circular theme flows throughout the salon and between the natural glow beaming through the skylights and the amazing, all available to purchase, decor, I was enchanted.
Make sure to ask for Allie. Between her styling and personality she was amazing and I highly recommend her for your next visit. She will make you feel like you are long lost best friends and she will make your locks look stunning.
Sip some tea in the lush garden while you wait or gaze at the artwork in the small lounge. Just don’t be surprised if you come in for a blow-dry and walk out with an Andrée Putman sofa and a few more heads turning your way.
