Falling For Fall

Today, I am officially pulling out all the fall season trends. The biggest, being the button down a-line skirt. Whether you choose denim or suede this is the “it” skirt this season. I personally love the suede a-line skirt because it reminds me of one of my favorite 70’s tv and style icons, Marcia Brady. She continuously kept the a-line in her style rotation. Another fall/winter trend that has grown even more from last year is the suede over-the-knee boot. Grey, brown, black, olive, it doesn’t matter.. just pair with a high-waisted skirt and you are guaranteed a fall-perfect look. Last but not least, the felt hat and the statement sunglasses. A hat and sunglasses may seem summer oriented but think twice before stowing them away just yet. Yes, they might not get as much wear in the coming months as they have throughout summer but that doesn’t mean your need for a pair of chic shades and a floppy hat won’t stretch past August. I chose a felt black hat and a pair of black and olive speckled statement sunglasses to top off my look. They both brought just the right touch to my outfit and are perfect for the crisp days of fall. So take heed and add them to your arsenal of accessories for the fall and beyond like I am. Salt City Optics is a great place to start your search, they’re offering 25% off sunglasses with the code FALLFASHION25!
