Breckenridge, Co In July

For the past 3 years I have spent my 4th of July in awe of the Colorado mountains splendor. If you thought Colorado was gorgeous in the winter, just wait until you see it in the summer. The weather is perfect, and with every breath you feel as if you are cleansing your body with clean, fresh air. From parades filled with Budweiser Clydesdale horses and sled dogs, lunch venues with amazing views, and cascading waterfalls, there is a little something for everyone. Here is sampling of my favorite things to do in July around Breckenridge, Colorado.

Eat: Breakfast at Daylight Donuts (downtown Breckenridge), Brunch at Columbine Cafe (downtown Breckenridge), Lunch at Bubba Gumps (downtown Breckenridge), Dinner at Relish (downtown Breckenridge), Dessert at Mary’s Mountain Cookies (downtown Breckenridge)

Drink: Margaritas at Rita’s (downtown Breckenridge), Bloody’s at Motherloaded Tavern (downtown Breckenridge), Beers at The Dredge (downtown Breckenridge), Creative Cocktails at Modis (downtown Breckenridge)

Do: Bike ride the beautiful trail from Frisco to Copper, Hike up McCullough Gulch for an amazing view, Shop at downtown Breckenridge, Visit the outlet malls of Silverthorne, Ride the gondola up to Keystone Mountain for drinks and live music at the Friday Afternoon Club, Catch beads at the 4th of July parade in downtown Breck, Watch fireworks at Avon and Breckenridge, Flyfish on Swan River
