A Spring Transition

So its 65 degrees outside and I receive this gorgeous full on spring/summer slip dress on my front step and it’s safe to say I’m obsessed. Unfortunately, there was no way I was about to step out in it during the last few days of winter.. way to cold for that. But, I am completely over dressing for the cold and ready to show some leg, I want to wear my spring pieces now. So how do I do that? Winter/spring always leaves me feeling very confused due to wildly unpredictable weather. But 40 mph winds and 68 degrees did not stop me from wearing this slip dress.. I just paired it with thoughtful layers and savvy styling tips. I layered an of-the-moment slip dress with an edgy leather jacket and classic pumps which kept me feeling not so out of season and warded off the cold. There are other countless ways to incorporate your spring wardrobe into your winter one from turtlenecks under dresses and sweaters over dresses to socks with platform sandals. So ditch the pants and scarf because you no longer have to neglect your favorite spring dress.
